This is what we do on the weekends!

Micah and Jason made pancakes for dinner tonight and it was yummy. Jason is a pancake pro and so he taught Micah a few of his tricks. Micah loves helping in the kitchen; she especially loves pouring the milk.

Yesterday for family day, we went to the Zoo. Micah started out having a lot of fun but by the end she was ready to go. She was afraid of most of the animals and would start crying if they came to close to the gate. Jason and I weren't too surprised; Micah is afraid of a lot things especially loud noises. One of her favorite things were the monkeys but I think it was because they were so far away and didn't make any noise. At the end of the day Micah was so tired that she started to fall asleep in the car while eating her snack.

She was even afraid of the pelicans...

Fathers day!!

I let Micah work on a few pictures for Jason for Father's day and in the end I think she got more marker on herself than she did on the paper. Here are a few samples of her work.

We had a very relaxing Fathers day!! We had brunch at our house and then headed to Starbuck's for some afternoon coffee. Micah and I are so thankful for such a wonderful husband and father. We enjoyed our day together as a family even though Micah managed to spill Jason's chocolate frappuccino all over herself and jason. It was pretty funny! Happy Fathers Day to all especially our dad's who are so far from us!!

Vacation with nana and dede!!

We had a great time on our vacation with Nana and Dede! We spent several days by the beach and then went to the big city for a few days! Despite the fact that Micah got sick, she still had a fun time by the pool playing with the other children. She was totally afraid of the ocean but I hope that will change with time.

Not only were we at the beach for Mothers day but I got to eat Chili's on my birthday. Dede and Nana got to watch Micah while Jason and I had a date night out on the town. We eat bottomless chips, refillable cokes, and chicken crispers. YUMMY!!!

Thank you for coming to visit us Nana and Dede; we loved having yall here!!!

NaNa and DeDe are Here!

Nana and Dede finally arrived on Tuesday and we have been so happy to have them here!!! They arrived on Jason's birthday...what a perfect birthday present!! To celebrate their arrival and Jason's birthday we went to Johnny Rockets for lunch. Fun Fun Fun!!! When we got back home and sat down to eat dinner, some friends came by. Nana and Dede were so tired from their trip but you never would have known because they stayed up to visit with us all until 12:00am. They also came with gifts from the states!!! We couldn't believe all the things they brought...what a blessing! The most important thing they managed to bring was DR. Pepper!!!! Yeah you heard me, Jason and I have already drank 4 16oz bottles!! We got all kinds of candies, cereals, swiss cake rolls, peanut butter bars, ingredients for Jason's chocolate eclair cake and more!!! We are now stocked up with goodies and look forward to eating it all!! Don't worry they didn't leave Micah out, she got all kinds of clothes and treats as well. She got an adorable set of minnie mouse gear including an outfit, shoes, doll, cup, and plate. We will get some good minnie pictures uploaded as soon as we get some good ones! Nana and Dede have a week left here with us and we are looking forward to going to the beach today and traveling around our country together!
