Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Wow!! Its been a busy holiday season and we are so grateful for all the sweet time with family and friends!!!! I am just posting a few pictures of our sweet little family Christmas eve and Christmas day!! We spent Christmas eve together as a family and Christmas Day we had a little Christmas party with a few of our friends. Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera to the party and didn't get any pictures of the kids in their supper cute Christmas outfits. Me and Micah even made a birthday cake for Jesus and we even forgot to get a picture of that. Silly us.

Oh well, we still have an awesome Christmas and really love this time of the year. Thank you to all who sent Christmas presents and cards. We love you all and miss you during this time of the year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!

Good times in october!!

Its been a full month and we are so thankful for all the fun and craziness. Most recently we celebrated the fall with a little party. The kids dressed up. Luka put on his pumpkin shirt and Micah dressed as a precious little angel. We let the kids trick or treat at each door in our apartment. They loved every second, even Luka followed all the kids around begging for candy...haha. Micah loved trick or treating and wants to do it again soon.

Micah also had her first day of preschool this month. She has been going for almost two weeks now and loves every second. The first couple of days she was shy and reserved but now she is asking to go. It has been a great change of pace for our family but it also causes us to realize just how fast the kids are growing. Luka is really starting to walk like crazy and he is really full of himself. He climbs up on everything and falls regularly. Micah was not nearly as active as Luka. I can't believe the difference between raising girls and boys. Oh, I also posted a sweet video of Jason playing with Luka!

Happy 1st Birthday Luka!!!!

We celebrated Luka's 1st birthday yesterday and it was so much fun!! We celebrated with chili cheese dogs, cake, ice cream, and great friends. Luka got to open up one present in the morning when he got up, we went to the mall and ate lunch, and then we had a party in the evening. Just before the party started we opened all his presents and he loved every single one of them. Thank you family for sending such wonderful gifts for our sweet Luka to enjoy on his birthday!!!

Luka didn't know what to do when we put a cake in front of him. He acted a little shy at first but then he warmed up to the idea and dug in. I made him a special cake, considering he has a milk allergy. Hopefully it tasted as good as the real deal.

Needless to say, we are so thankful for our sweet little Luka and could not imagine our lives without him. All day, we talked about what we were doing on the day he was born and were filled with warm memories of his birth and life. He has been such a happy baby, always smiling, and full of joy. He has started taking a few steps on his own but he is not yet totally walking. He loves smiling and really puts on a good show when the cameras are rolling. His favorite foods are fruits and oatmeal. He loves being with Micah but does not like to be alone.
