4th of July weekend

So, we had a pretty busy weekend!! We celebrated the 4th of July by having a cook out with some American friends here and then on Sunday we went to another cookout with some locals. We couldn't help but notice the culture differences in each cookout but we had a great time either way! Its easy to see which cookout is which because of the colors!
We had white chocolate covered strawberry's and sugar cookies...yummy!!
This is our picnic table!

The girls swam in the pool!
Neither of them wanted to look at the camera!
I am proud to be an American!!

Yeah!! I got both of them smiling!
Micah and a sweet friend in the hammock today!
These are some local friends...as you can see the boys and girls don't sit together.
Here we are eating cherries and doot!
The weather was so cold up the mountain that I was given extra clothing by my friends!
Here is what we had for our picnic...yogurt, kofte (like a meat ball), tomatoes, cucumbers, and sucuk (kind of like sausage but not)!
Here is everybody at the table! Can you see all the tomatoes and bread?
Our sweet angel!
Sleepy at the end of a long day.
For those of you who have been asking here is a picture of our sweet baby boy! His name will be Luka and here we are at 27 weeks!
