Happy 3rd Birthday to our sweet Luka!

Today we celebrate life with Luka for three years.  He is so full of life, laughter, and love.  I can hardly believe he is already three, he has been such a blessing.  We had a little party for him last week with some friends.  All the red and white pictures are from the party.  He wanted a fire truck party, which was a lot of fun for everybody.

The boys played a little game.  In light of the fact that fire fighters fight with water, each of the boys at the party got a water gun. They took turns trying to shot down the castles and army men.
Daddy and Luka set up the game.  I think Jason had just as much fun playing as Luka did.

The rest of these birthday pictures are from today.  We celebrated as a family and we enjoyed every minute.  Luka woke up and first thing opened all his presents. Thank you all for sending such wonderful gifts and card.   He was one happy little boy!

Breakfast muffins.  He loves it when you sing to him.  We even caught him singing happy birthday to himself a few times.

By the way, Noelle is finally standing up and taking a few steps on her own.  Yay, its been a long time coming.
Happy October!!  Gotta love these sweet faces!!  Turkey pjs.

 Our three love to snuggle!!

Such a fun and full few weeks!

We went on a picnic with some friends a few weeks ago and the kids had a blast.  Picnics are a loved thing in this culture.  Everyone brings their charcoal grills and we eat a ton.  The kids play in the dirt and it lasts all day.  We ate breakfast and lunch and were there from 9 until 6.  We were all tired afterwards but we had a ball.  Here are a few pictures.

Micah started school last week.  She loves it!!  She started taking the bus this week and I could hardly believe it.  She has grown up so fast, lets just say I shed a few tears.

This week was crowded with several wedding events.  Some close friends of ours got married and we spent a lot of time loving them and serving them.  It was such a fun cultural experience and we are so grateful for our friendship with them.

Here is Jason helping with party favors.

Here I am with the bride on her special ladies night out.  It is traditional for the bride to wear red.

Bride and groom on the dance floor.

Mid way through the celebration the bride comes covered in red surrounded by her closest friends chanting.

The bride then sits down while her hands are bandaged with henna.  I am actually in this picture in the back.

Here is the bride today on her wedding day.

The groom comes to get the bride from her home and at that time they dance in the streets.

The kids enjoyed watching the dancing from the sidelines.

The actual wedding ceremony.

After the wedding we went to a garden restaurant for dinner and the kids had a blast!!  They ran around in this big open filled and played on the beanbags.
