Happy Love Month!!!

We had a wonderful and busy Valentine celebration this week. The kids and I made heart cookies for Micah to take to school. Meme even came to help make cookies on Skype!! Luka nearly dumped the whole bottle of sprinkles on each cookie. Micah also decorated Dora valentines for everybody in her class. Jason and I had a delicious steak dinner at home for our valentines celebration. It was nice to have a quiet candlelit evening at home!!

I also uploaded some super sweet pictures of the kids in their valentine outfits. A friend of ours got some great shots. There are also a few random photos from this month as well.

This month has been full and lots of fun. In these first few pictures we were eating dinner with some friends and they said Noelle was hungry and needing something to eat. She hasn't really started eating many foods but they decided that she needed pickled carrots and pickles. Funny thing is, that she actually loved the carrot. Those of you that have had pickles here know that they are extremely salty. Afterwards I tried to give her some water but she wasn't very interested.














Here is a good friend and her baby. Her and Noelle are only a few months apart.


Today we woke up to a lot of snow on the ground. Micah was ready to go out immediately. I think we were the first ones outside. Luka doesn't really match but I figured as long as he was warm it didn't really matter. Poor guy even had pink pants on.

Merry Christmas!!!

Back by popular demand, I decided to continue our blog. Rather than trying to catch you up on the past 10 months, I think I'll just start with this Christmas.

We hope that each of you had a very Merry Christmas!! We had a most wonderful celebration this year!! Christmas eve we celebrated at our house with 22 other americans and we had a blast. There were seven kids and they stuffed each others stockings with goodies. The adults exchanged secret santa gifts and we shared a large meal together. Afterwards Jason led us in some songs and we worshiped our Savior together. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends to celebrate this holiday season with.

Christmas eve night we opened a few presents, read the christmas story, and we put the kids to bed around 8. Afterwards, Jason and I finished getting christmas gifts ready and watched White Christmas. I was about to bust with excitement for Christmas morning.

We enjoyed a relaxing christmas day starting around 5:30. The kids woke up with excitement and joy. We opened gifts and played all morning and after lunch we got ready for another celebration with the nationals. That evening we watched Christmas movies and read the christmas story again.

I didn't mention that we talked with family several times the past few days. We missed our family this year but we are so thankful for Skype. Thank you family and friends for sending us such sweet gifts and cards. We need each of you in our lives and are really thankful to have you in our lives. Merry Christmas to all!!
