This week we had a fun get away to Uludag, the mountain beside our city. It had snowed 81/2 feet on the mountain and I had never seen so much snow in my life. I was blown away by the beauty of it. We went skiing in real snow for two days and enjoyed the in door pool. The slopes were right beside the hotel and who would have known that skiing in real snow would have been so different from skiing in NC. Micah got to play in snow for the first time and at first she was a little scared; but by the end of the trip she was loving it. On the other hand, Micah was like a fish in the pool. The pool was on the top floor of the hotel and when we looked out the window we could see the snow covered mountains. It was strange to be in my bathing suit looking at all the snow. We had a great time and I am so thankful for a few days outside our city.
