Thanksgiving and the beginning of Christmas

Our sweet Noelle finally started walking the first week of December and she has been just precious.  She is the cutest little 18 month old there is.  She changes everyday and is talking up a storm.

Our Thanksgiving feast!  Yummy yum.  We had ham!!!

 Pretty table

All the precious ladies who worked hard on this delicious meal.  Love each of them.

The kids table.  They gobbled up their ham.

The kids watched Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving.

Noelle tried to fit in with the big kids but she didn't last long.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

A little exercise after our thanksgiving gathering.

I love Micah's face in this one.

The day after thanksgiving we decorated the house for Christmas.  Jason could hardly wait another day.    I think he would have decorated October if I would have let him.
One of the best part of decorating was remembering each memory that coincided with each ornament.  That was by far one of the kids favorite parts.

The kids hanging their stockings with care.

The kids love helping daddy with tree.

The Nativity set is a big hit every year.

We had a special picnic in the living room and watched a Christmas movie.

Noelle's favorite part...

Decorating time...

We made and decorated sugar cookies for our Christmas party and it was a blast.  Noelle played in the flour and was covered in such a short amount of time.  Everyone needed a bath right afterwards.

Sprinkles!!!

We made tons of cookies but this is just a sample of the final product. We made such sweet memories decorating cookies.

One of Micah's favorite cookies!

The boys playing cards.

Each of the kids had a buddy to play with.

It's hard to keep Noelle away from the tree.  She loves the beautiful lights and ornaments.

I just love these two!!

I got took a picture of Noelle in Micah's hand-me-down santa dress.  So cute!!

Happy October!!

We celebrated halloween a few days late but we all had a blast!!!  The kids have been looking forward to dressing up all week.  They were undecided on their outfits until the day of the party.  Noelle was a little black kitten, Luka was a pirate/cowboy, and Micah was a beautiful ballerina.  I tried to be festive with Minnie mouse ears.  We celebrated with a few families in our area.  We ate pizza, halloween goodies, played games, trick or treated, and off course had lots of candy.

Here are the kiddos all dressed up.

Everybody is trying to help Noelle start walking but she still isn't quite there yet.

Micah showing off her ballerina moves

Halloween goodies, cupcakes, cookies, and trail mix

Love these perfect pumpkin cookies

All the kids dressed up and ready to play

Trick or treating in the dark with glow in the dark bracelets.  Fun!!

 Trick or Treat

Luka got all kinds of goodies!!!

 ...so did Micah

We played "pin the nose on the pumpkin"

Can you guess which ones are Micah's and Luka's....

Bean bag toss

Musical chairs (pillows)

During the day, Luka put on his cowboy outfit but just before the party started he decided to switch into his pirate costume.  Thankfully the party was at our house so he was able to make a quick change.  These two pictures were actually taken a week before the party. Everyday is a good day to dress up!

The fathers passed out candy while the moms helped the kids go door to door.
