They're growing so fast!!

Yesterday I went to get Luka out of bed and he was standing up. Oh my goodness, he is getting so big.

Luka got his first taste of Simit. My neighbors thought it would be a good snack for him and they were right, he loved every bite. Except for the fact that he was a mess afterwards.

Sibling fun! Micah loves to play with Luka and Luka likes to tickle Micah.

Luka started pulling up on everything this week. He is just plain adorable!

Micah got a major hair cut. She didn't want to sit still in the chair. Her cut isn't exactly straight but it still looks adorable and its great for the summer!

I had to bribe her with a snack.

busy week!

We had a full week last week! We went to our babysitters son's wedding and the following day we went to the village and spent two days. The kids were pooped afterward but we all had a great time! Here are few pictures of all our fun!


Here is a picture of the village; its in the valley of the mountain. Its really beautiful!

Its cherry season and we got to eat them fresh off the tree. Luka even enjoyed eating some.

We made cherry juice and it is so yummy. We cooked it in the big silver pot in the right side of the picture.

We left Luka at home considering the wedding didn't start until 8 in the evening. We missed little Luka but the three of us had a ton of fun!!

This man would blow the horn in peoples ear expecting money afterwards. This is more traditional for them.

Micah spent most of the evening hiding from anybody who came by to see her. She was so shy, this picture is a good representation of her behavior.

Adorable bath pictures! I can't resist taking nuddie pictures!! When Luka sees us getting the bath ready he practically jumps out our arms. They love taking a bath together! Luka kicks and splashes on Micah and she thinks its so funny.

Holiday weekend!!

So, we had a great 4th of July weekend!! We went to a big park one day and had a picnic. We bought a box of friend chicken, biscuits and made some sweet tea; it was a great reminder of home!!
The following day we went to the beach with some American friends and everyone had a blast!! Micah and Luka especially enjoyed themselves. Micah was ready to stay forever. There were eight kids total and they were all around her age, needless to say she had a ton of fun. She swam like a fish and wasn't afraid of the water at all. Luka on the other hand was terrified of the water. Usually he loves the bath and this is way it was surprising for us but at least he enjoyed the sand. The day flew by but we loved ever second!
