Happy 1st birthday Noelle!!!

 Today Noelle turned one!!!  I can't believe how fast this past year has gone.  Noelle has gotten so big. She isn't walking yet and she isn't really interested but she can get just about anywhere crawling.  She has really gotten a lot of personality the past several weeks and she continually makes us laugh with her funny faces and sweet expressions.  

We had a party tonight in honor of her and so most of the day we spent preparing for our hot dog cook-out.  These are a few pictures I got of her playing and having a good time this morning.

 Presents!!  Thanks to everyone who sent them, she love everything.  The toys were so much fun and I couldn't believe the adorable outfits!!

 When we first put this adorable tutu on, she wasn't very excited.  I think she thought it was uncomfortable and itchy but she got use to it.  Sucking on the fingers always helps.

 She was very "girly" about it at first.  Luka and Micah were both surprised we were letting her make such a mess.  Luka especially thought it was funny.

 In the end, she got right down to business.  Yep, she likes cake!

 It's hard to tell from this picture but Noelle was covered in icing.  I took her directly to the bath.

 After bath time, we put one of her birthday outfits on.   Adorable!!

 Just before bed she played with her new cabbage patch doll and gave her lots of kisses.  She was excited about adopting little Christina Addison in our family.  She loves her new baby!!

In honor of Jason's sweet grandaddy!!

 Jason's grandfather went home to be with the Lord this week.  He was an incredible man of God, full of love for his God, wife, family, and friends.  We were incredibly blessed and thankful to be a part of his full life. We wanted to take a minute and honor him with a few sweet pictures.

 Please pray for our family, especially Martha his wife, as we grieve our loss.  Please pray for Jason as he grieves from across the world.  Praise the Lord that we will see him again one day!!

Grandaddy was protecting Micah from Benji.  Although Benji is harmless and sweet, Micah has a fear of dogs and clung to grandaddy for protection.

Fathers day and around and about

 Noelle's little personality is really coming out.  She loves smiling for the camera and almost every time she closes her eyes.  Too cute!!

 I couldn't resist this precious picture in the tub.  Noelle has just recently discovered her love for the bath and we sure are grateful.  Up until now, she has hated being in water and she would scream the entire bath time.

 This picture was taken just before daddy took Luka to get his hair cut.  I couldn't believe how long his hair was.  He doesn't like going to the barber much but its getting better each time.  The weather has been so hot here, its almost impossible to keep his hair long.

Balcony pool time became balcony bucket time.  I think both the kids enjoyed swimming in the bucket just as much as the pink barbie pool.  

 We got a package last week and it was the highlight of the day!  Thanks Nana and Dede!!

 I tried to get a picture of all three kiddos but they rarely turn out just right.  Micah and Noelle have adorable matching outfits.  Micah loves matching her little sister.

 The other day, I promised the kids we could make milkshakes if they ate all their dinner.  It was a great bribe because they ate every bite.  Look at those sweet milkshake faces!!

 We took a family walk down to Burger King and I got a few sweet pictures along the way!

 Noelle is looking like a big girl these days.  I can't believe she is going to be one next week.  

Micah's last day of school

This past week was Micah's last week of school and it was bittersweet. We can hardly believe she is going to be a kindergardener. We were so proud of her. She has gone through so much transition in her little life but she has adapted so quickly and so well. She is simply awesome!!

I took Micah to get her nails done as a celebration of her finishing preschool. She is very girly and loved being pampered!

Hopefully soon we will be able to upload a video of Micah receiving her report card and giving everyone a little show. It's worth waiting for! :)
